LAUREN A. PITMAN

Lauren A. Pitman is a principal member of Pitman Huff Raedel Magaro Lifetime Legal, PLLC. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University in 2001, and her law degree, with Honors, from Seattle University School of Law in 2005. Since her admittance to the bar in 2005, her legal practice has emphasized estate planning, probate, elder law, and issues pertaining to long-term care and Medicaid planning.


Ms. Pitman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, the Elder Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association. In addition, she has served on the Executive Board for Senior Action Network of Thurston, Thurston, and Lewis Counties, and on the Executive Committee for South Puget Sound Estate Planning Council. Her past community work has included serving as the President of the Board of Directors of the Hands-on Children's Museum and presently sits on the Board of the Mayday Foundation.


In addition to lecturing and providing continuing education opportunities for attorneys, legal professionals, and college students, Ms. Pitman is a frequent contributor to local newspapers and other publications. She is committed to educating individuals and families on how best to protect their financial interests and legacies through estate planning and enjoys making time for public speaking engagements in the areas of her legal practice for the benefit of the greater community, including seniors, their families, and caregivers. Ms. Pitman has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and dreaming of hobbies she may one day enjoy when her children are older.

ANDREA L. HUFF

Andrea huff — Olympia, WA — Pitman Huff Raedel Magaro Lifetime Legal, PLLC

Andrea L. Huff is a principal member of Pitman Huff Raedel Magaro Lifetime Legal, PLLC. Before becoming a principal at Lifetime Legal, she was a principal at Snyder & Huff Law Offices in Shelton. Her entire legal career has focused on estate planning, probate, and other estate settlement administration.

 

Ms. Huff speaks to public groups about estate planning and estate settlements. She is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Section member and the Elder Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association. She has served on the Endowment Committee of the Mason General Hospital Foundation.

 

Ms. Huff grew up in Lacey. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 2001, with a double major in political science and history. In addition, she earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2006.

HEIDI L. RAEDEL MAGARO

Heidi raedel magaro — Olympia, WA — Pitman Huff Raedel Magaro Lifetime Legal, PLLC

A native of Washington State, Ms. Magaro graduated from Olympia High School in 1999. She obtained her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in 2003 and a law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008.


Upon graduating from law school, she and her husband returned to Olympia to raise a family. While their children were young, she taught preschool part-time, volunteered regularly for Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services, began serving on the Capitol Chapter of the Board of Directors for Washington Women Lawyers, and worked part-time with a local law firm practicing in the areas of domestic violence and family law.


In 2013, Ms. Magaro was hired as an associate for Bauer Pitman Bauer, PLLC, now Pitman Huff Raedel Magaro Lifetime Legal, PLLC. She was active in the Senior Action Network and the South Puget Sound Estate Planning Council for several years, participating in networking events and providing education to the community at large and fellow professionals. In the spring of 2020, Ms. Magaro became a principal of the firm. 


She focuses her practice to the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianship/conservatorship and special needs trusts. 


Ms. Magaro continues to devote time and energy to local organizations associated with her practice. She recently stepped back from the Board of Directors for the Thurston County Bar Association after serving for several years. She continues to be involved with the Capitol Chapter of Washington Women Lawyers and was recently honored with the 2022 Washington State Bar Association's Local Hero Award.
