Ms. Pitman is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, the Elder Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association.  In addition, she has served on the Executive Board for Senior Action Network of Thurston, Thurston and Lewis Counties, and on the Executive Committee for South Puget Sound Estate Planning Council.  Her past community work has included serving as the President of the Board of Directors of the Hands on Children's Museum and presently sits on the Board of the Mayday Foundation.

In addition to lecturing and providing continuing education opportunities for attorneys, legal professionals and college students, Ms. Pitman is a frequent contributor to local newspapers and other publications.  She is committed to educating individuals and families on how best to protect their financial interests and legacies through estate planning and enjoys making time for public speaking engagements in the areas of her legal practice for the benefit of the greater community, including seniors, their families, and care givers.  Ms. Pitman has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and dreaming of hobbies she may one day enjoy when her children are older.
